Jonathan David Good, better known as Jon Moxley is one of the hottest name in professional wrestling. He is currently the IWGP United States Champion, and he is set to appear on TNT’s new wrestling program AEW on Wednesday nights. Unfortunately, a recent injury has sidelined him, and he is reportedly going to miss AEW latest PPV “All Out,” along with AEW’s premiere episode.

Jonathan David Good made a name for himself under the ring name Jon Moxley. He would wrestle for various small promotions such as Full Impact Pro (FIP), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA). During this time Jon Moxley would become famous for his brutal deathmatches.
WWE, DEAN AMBROSE
By April 2011 Good would sign a developmental contract with WWE, where he would now go under the ring name Dean Ambrose. Under the WWE umbrella the now dub Dean Ambrose would wrestle for the developmental branch Florida Champion Wrestling (FCW). On an October 21, house show Dean Ambrose would wrestle CM Punk, despite losing the match to CM Punk, Punk praise the future superstar. During this time FCW would go through a transitional period as Paul Michael Levesque, better known as Triple H, would take control of the developmental branch and re-brand it NXT.
Dean Ambrose would not spend a lot time on NXT, as he along with fellow upstarts Seth Rollins, and Roman Reign would get called up to the main roster where they were placed in a three-man faction know as The Shield. Debuting at the “Survivor Series” 2012 PPV, the trio arrived as CM Punk’s bodyguards. The Shield would run roughshod through the company, with a memorable feud with Team Hell-No (Kane and Danial Bryan) and Ryback. Resulting in their first on-air match at “TLC” 2012 against Team Hell-No and Ryback.
Dean Ambrose made his presence known as the team’s mouthpiece cutting most of their promos. During his time on The Shield, Dean Ambrose became the longest US Champion under the WWE banner. On June 2, 2014, after a feud with Evolution (Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton) The Shield officially broke up after Seth Rollins hit Dean and Roman with multiple chair shots. Despite being the leader of the group Dean was the one that was hurt the most by the break-up. His character was made to look repeatedly weaker by losing to Seth Rollins, followed by a feud with Brock Lesnar resulting in what is considered one of the worst matches in Wrestlemania history. Despite this Dean would still be featured as a top name in the company constantly holding the Intercontinental Championship.
Things would change in 2016 when Dean Ambrose cashed in his Money in the Bank contract winning the WWE World Championship. During this time WWE entered a new era with the 2016 brand split. Ambrose would be moved to Smackdown Live where he would hold the WWE World Champion as the top champion. He would lose the belt to AJ Styles and that would be the last time Ambrose would be a relevant contender for the championship.
For the next few years, Dean Ambrose would play sidekick to Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. By 2019 Dean’s character would take a drastic change turning heel and taking advantage of Roman Reign after recently revealing that he is suffering from Leukemia. Feeling unhappy with his character, and with his contract ending on April 2019, Ambrose chose not to renew, and leave the WWE. The same night that his contract ended Ambrose made waves releasing a small trailer on his Tweeter account hinting at something big as he went back to his old name Jon Moxley.
