The rivalry between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns is one of the fiercest rivalries in all of sports. Each and every year, college football fans anticipate the Red River Showdown when the two historic programs go head-to-head.

The hatred between the two universities is strong and the fans love to get involved. This year, fans of the Sooners will be able to add to their trolling of Texas with the help of a delicious treat.

Oklahoma has long trolled the Longhorns by inverting Texas’ “Hook ‘Em Horns” hand sign. Now, at Oklahoma home football games this season, Sooners fans will be able to chow down on a new “Horns Down” donut.

You can check out a photo of the trolling treats below, via radio host John E. Hoover.

Both the Sooners and Longhorns enter the 2019 college football season ranked in the top ten. Oklahoma checks in at No. 4, while the Longhorns are No. 10. The two teams will face off this season on Saturday, October 12 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Red River Showdown, previously known as the Red River Shootout, Red River Classic, and Red River Rivalry, dates back to 1900. In the very first meeting between the Sooners and Longhorns, Texas earned a 28-2 win. Throughout the series — which awards the winner the Golden Hat — there have been 114 meetings. Texas leads the all-time series with a record of 62-47-5. Texas also holds the longest winning streak at 8, but the largest victory belongs to Oklahoma who earned a 65-13 win in 2003.
