Normani Kordei is working on her debut solo album, and the 23-year-old former Fifth Harmony member has continued to build some momentum for its release with the release of a new single “Motivation,” which was co-written by none other than Ariana Grande.
Normani previously discussed her creative process with Grande during an interview with Rolling Stone.
“She’s been very supportive of me, too. I talk to her about the creative process,” Normani said. “I’m like, ‘When did you know your album was done.’ She was just like, ‘Honestly, you’ll know. Nobody will have to tell you. You’ll feel it […] She’s dope. She also has a part in the record that I’m releasing, too. She wrote on it.”
