Bam Margera is once again involved in a bizarre incident. The Jackass star had a public meltdown where he claimed he was disowned by his mother and said that he cannot stand his wife. Following the incident, Margera reportedly agreed to seek help and checked into rehab.
Unfortunately, the rehab stint lasted only a few days and Margera quickly found himself spiraling in a dangerous direction.
According to TMZ, Margera was involved in a bizarre altercation with patrons at a hotel bar in Hollywood, California. Police were called to the hotel where Margera was reportedly put under citizen’s arrest and sitting on the floor in the lobby. Ultimately, Margera was arrested for trespassing and had his bail set at $1,000.
Details of what led to the arrest are even more bizarre than the video which was also obtained by TMZ.
The officer told Bam, “This is not a f**king reality TV show. I know you’re fresh out of rehab, so let’s get your s**t together.” Bam had been spinning a weird story with a couple of customers in the bar — that he’d been hired by one of their wives to catch him cheating … and he stuck to that even once cops arrived.
Margera has previously said that he had been struggling with alcohol as a way to cope with the passing of his close friend and fellow Jackass star Ryan Dunn.
Dunn passed away shortly after his 34th birthday on June 20, 2011, after his vehicle veered off of the road and crashed into a true. Dunn had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit in the state of Pennsylvania and it was believed that his vehicle was traveling more than 130 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone.
Hopefully, Margera can get the help that he needs.
