Rejoice PlayStation Plus subscribers, for being a part of the subscription-based service you will be getting two free games coming August 6th and will be able to download these two games through September 2nd. The two games in question are the futuristic racing game Wipeout: Omega Collection and the World War II shooter Sniper Elite 4.
Wipeout: Omega Collection, originally released in June 2017, and includes the high-definition remast of Wipeout 2048, Wipeout HD, and the Fury HD expansion. This collection features eight-player online multiplayer, and two-player couch or local split-screen co-op. Wipeout: Omega Collection is compatible with PlayStation VR, and currently costs $19.99 on the PlayStation Store.
Sniper Elite 4, originally released in February 2017, sends marksman ‘Karl Fairburne’ to warn torn Italy to join the Italian Resistance. This free game features a full single-player campaign, four-person couch/local split-screen co-op, and online multiplayer. This third-person shooter currently costs $59.99 on the PlayStation Store.
On a side note: subscribers don’t worry, there’s still time to pick-up the games that have been available all throughout July. Those games are Detroit: Become Human (which comes with development studio Quantic Dream’s other game, Heavy Rain), and Horizon Chase Turbo. These two (technically three) titles will be available on the PlayStation Store until August 5th.

Unfortunately, as of January 30th, 2019, Sony has stopped offering free games through the PlayStation Plus subscription service for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita owners. However, you can still find some amazing deals for games on those consoles. Some deals on these consoles are Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for $19.99, Persona 4 Arena for $15.99, Bayonetta for $19.99, and Capcom Arcade Cabinet for free. Also, going on is Sony’s big Summer Sale that you can find games on the PlayStation 4 for up to 75% off. This includes titles such as Devil May Cry 5 for $39.59, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for $14.99, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for $14.99.
