SZA blessed fans with an unexpected surprise during an onstage set at the Splendour in the Grass festival in Australia over the weekend. SZA’s surprise came in the form of a cover of the Wheatus classic song “Teenage Dirtbag.”
“Teenage Dirtbag” was originally released on July 17, 2000, and spent four weeks at No. 1 in Australia. The track sold a total of 5 million copies worldwide and was certified three-time Platinum after becoming the second best-selling single of the year.
Keeping the tradition of the song’s success in Australia, SZA gave it a fresh take.
