Bianca Devins, a rising social media personality who amassed more than 30,000 followers on Instagram under the username @escty, has been trending on social media following reports of her murder. The 17-year-old egirl and 4Chan user was reportedly murdered by another 4chan user, who is believed to go by the name yesjuliet on Instagram.
Graphic photos surfaced on social media that were originally posted on the yesjuliet Instagram story that appeared to show a bloodied body with the caption “I am sorry Bianca.” Another photo posted to 4chan showed the girl’s body with a deep cut across her throat.
The Instagram bio for the account read “10/06/1997 – 7/14/19. Just know that I feel no pain now.”
Prior to sharing photos of Bianca’s nearly decapitated body, the killer shared a photo that showed a vehicle driving down the road with a caption: “Here comes Hell. It’s redemption, right?”
A report from the local NBC news outlet in Utica, New York where Bianca was from indicates a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead inside of a vehicle while a man was transported to the local hospital with severe wounds.
Utica Police Lt. Bryan Coromato says a woman was pronounced dead, and a man was rushed to the hospital in what they are calling a possible domestic incident. The man did have significant cuts and lacerations, according to police. Coromato says the murder weapon was a sharp instrument but wouldn’t elaborate further.
There are conflicting reports about how Bianca and the man knew each other. He claimed that he was her boyfriend, while others suggested he had stalked her leading up to her murder.
Bianca’s sister, Liv, posted a tribute on Instagram.
“I hate that I have to write this. I hate knowing you’re not going to ever come back home. You were the best sister anyone could’ve ever asked for,” she wrote. “Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being the best sister I could ever imagine .Thank you for always protecting me and sticking up for me. I am going to do this for you. Every day I’m going to do my best and I’m going to get through this thing called life and do it all for you. Rest easy, I love you so much forever and always.”
Our deepest condolences go out to Bianca’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult and tragic time.
