There is no love lost between Big Baller Brand patriarch LaVar Ball and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. The two men have been going back and forth for months, with Barkley often criticizing LaVar’s antics and mocking his sons. Ball, meanwhile, is never one to shy away from controversy and fires back at Barkley.
In their latest back-and-forth, LaVar went hard at Barkley and even suggested that the TNT NBA analyst wants him to be his father.
Yes, seriously.
Check it out.
“I don’t even pertain to Charles because he’s so jealous of me. He want to be me so bad,” Ball said.
“He never had a father. He wish I was his father. That’s why he’s so animate towards me. But I don’t even get into that because the only way he can get his 200 likes he got to say something bad about me…. But I know he jealous. He want everything I got. People don’t come up to him. Kids don’t believe in him. Nothing.”
It’s your turn to fire back, Chuck.
The demise of the Triple B-brand — which the Los Angeles Lakers star owns a 51 percent share of — has been looming after reports that Lonzo parted ways with Foster, who was a close friend of his father.
As it turned out, Foster has a criminal past and Ball suspects the family confidant of using Ball’s money to enrich himself. Foster had access to Ball’s finances and was unable to account for $1.5 million in missing funds.
In the preview, LaVar shares his disgust with the news and says that the brand will move forward without Foster while also saying that the co-founder is no longer a part of BBB.
LaVar, however, continues to say that the Big Baller Brand is as brolic as ever.
“I’m not gonna let one roodypoo guy come in here and do something bad and then be like the brand’s not good,” Ball said, via TMZ Sports. “The brand is good. It’s just somebody did something bad to it … We had a snake up in the thing, but you gotta understand this — I’m a snake charmer. When you’re a snake charmer, you’re gonna get bit.”
Let’s see just how long this feud can continue.
