Kathryn Dunn is a cast member of the 21st season of the CBS reality series Big Brother. Kathryn is one of 16 new competitors who will be competing for the $50,000 prize when the series premieres on Tuesday, June 25. Kathryn graduated from Baylor University with a degree in speech communications and competed in the Miss America and Miss USA pageant systems representing Texas. She went on to represent Colorado and placed first runner-up to Miss Colorado USA 2017.
The 29-year-old Dallas native is currently a digital marketing executive and previously worked as a dancer for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. She also covered the Dallas Cowboys and FC Dallas as a sports reporter.
Entering the Big Brother house, Kathryn plans to use her time with the Mavericks and Cowboys to influence her strategy on the show.
“So looking back on when I was in training camp for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, I realize that my approach was all wrong. I was ‘look at me’/in your face, because I wanted to stand out, but because of that, I was the first one gone. I think in a competitive setting like this, it’s important to stay under the radar for as long as you can, and only arise when it counts,” she said in her official CBS bio.
“I’ll be friendly and pleasant to everybody so nobody will have a reason not to like me, and I’ll work/strategize behind the scenes so they don’t even see me as a threat. Stay woke, my friends.
