Molly Qerim is a veteran media personality who has worked for a number of the top networks in the sports world. The sports anchor was born March 31, 1984, in New Haven, Connecticut and currently serves as an anchor and moderator for ESPN’s morning debate show First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman.
Qerim, who is half Albanian and half Italian, is married to former NBA star and fellow ESPN analyst Jalen Rose. The couple was married in July 2018.
Prior to joining ESPN, Qerim had stints with CBS Sports Network, Versus, NBC Sports Network, NFL Network, and FOX Sports 1.
At the NFL Network, Qerim was the host of NFL AM and NFL Fantasy Live. She has also been involved in mixed martial arts, contributing to UFC coverage at ESPN and hosting the annual World MMA Awards. At CBS Sports, Qerim was a staple on the network’s college coverage where she hosted shows like SEC Tailgate Show, SEC Tonight, MaxPreps Lemming Report, Full Court Press, and Bracket Breakdown.
Before beginning her career as a sports anchor, Qerim graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a minor in business administration. She would later earn her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Quinnipiac University.
