Bellator MMA returns to the Big Apple on Friday, June 14 for Bellator 222 live from Madison Square Garden. The event features two title fights, a standout bout between two former UFC stars, and a number of up-and-coming rising prospects in mixed martial arts.
The main event features the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix semifinal between current champion Rory MacDonald and undefeated Neiman Gracie which will also be an official title defense. In the co-main event, former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida takes on multiple-time title challenger Chael Sonnen.
To open the main card, Darrion Caldwell defends the bantamweight championship against Kyoji Horiguchi.
Other prominent fighters on the main card include jiu-jitsu ace Dillon Danis, former champion Eduardo Dantos, wrestling phenom Aaron Pico, and former boxing champion Heather Hardy.
