Kailin Curran is Going to be Your New Favorite MMA Fighter

Kailin Curran is a mixed martial artist who competes in the women’s strawweight division. The 28-year-old from Ewa Beach, Hawaii grew up wrestling before transitioning to MMA. As a professional, she has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Invicta FC.

Curran was 3-0 when she made her UFC debut against Paige VanZant on November 22, 2014. The bout earned Fight of the Night honors, though Curran was stopped in the third round via TKO.

Curran struggled in the UFC, going 1-6 before her eventual release. She last competed at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Gastelum in Shanghai, China on November 25, 2017, losing a decision to Xiaonan Yan.

In Invicta FC, Curran was a member of the eight-woman, one-night tournament for the vacant strawweight title.
