Derby Weekend is finally here, and the first big race comes with the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 3. Three-year-old fillies take the spotlight in the race at Churchill Downs with the winner bringing home a whopping $1 million.
The “Lilies for the Fillies” is scheduled for a 6:12 p.m. ET post time.
Entering Friday evening’s race, Bellafina is the favorite with 2-1 odds. An interesting challenger for the favorite will be Restless Rider (6-1), who scored a win over Bellafina at the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) race in November 2018.
Other challengers include Dunbar Road (5-1) and Jaywalk (8-1).
