Update: One person was shot in the leg outside of a Domino’s Pizza in the 2900 block of Short Vine in Cincinnati, just two blocks away from the University of Cincinnati campus.
Following the shooting, the still-unidentified victim was taken to the nearby University of Cincinnati Medical Center to receive treatment.

The official public safety account of the University of Cincinnati has tweeted that police are responding to reports of a shooting near the school’s West Campus.
“Police responding to a shooting reported near campus. If safe, stay at your location. Be observant/take action as needed. More info soon,” the tweet read.
At the time of this writing, there is no word on any injuries or fatalities.
The University of Cincinnati’s Public Safety Twitter account further tweeted that the shooting suspects “fled southbound on Vine Street in a light blue Ford Explorer with temporary tags” while saying that there is no threat to the school’s campus at this time.
Police or university officials have yet to provide a further description of the suspects.
The University of Cincinnati has asked students to avoid the area at this time.
