Bellator returns to California on Saturday, April 27 for Bellator 220 at the SAP Center in San Jose. The event features two title fights as the Bellator MMA Welterweight World Grand Prix officially kicks into full swing with a clash between two former UFC title contenders.
In the main event, Rory MacDonald puts his 170-pound belt on the line against Jon Fitch. The winner of MacDonald vs. Fitch will advance to the semifinals of the Welterweight World Grand Prix where they will face off against undefeated Neiman Gracie.
In the co-main event, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane defends her women’s flyweight championship against Veta Arteaga.
The event also features former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson, who takes on Adam Piccolotti, and a matchup between two former Bellator light heavyweight champions Phil Davis and Liam McGeary.
