Russell Wilson is an awesome teammate. Just days after a brand new deal which made him the highest paid player in the National Football League, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback opened up his checkbook to give each of his offensive linemen an impressive gift.

According to TMZ Sports, Wilson gave every member of the offensive line $12,000 in Amazon stocks.

Wilson recently signed a whopping four-year, $140 million contract.

Along with the news of the $12,000 in Amazon stocks, TMZ Sports shared a letter that Wilson gave to his teammates.

“Every Sunday we go to battle together,” Wilson wrote. “You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family. This does not go unnoticed and it is never forgotten.

“When I sat down to think of ways to honor your dedication a dozen different ideas came to mind. Some were flashy, some were cool, but I wanted to give you something that had a lasting impact. Something that would affect the lives of you, your family, and your children. You have invested in my life… this is my investment into yours.”

Now that is impressive.

Seattle will kickoff its preseason on Thursday, August 8, against the Denver Broncos at CenturyLink Field. They will also play the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers, and Oakland Raiders. The Seahawks will then officially start the regular season on Sunday, September 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Seattle’s season-opener will air live on CBS.
