In the second of two Frozen Four matchups on Thursday, April 11, the No. 4 seed UMass men’s hockey team takes on Denver. The Minutemen and Pioneers are set to drop the puck at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2 and will take on the winner of Minnesota Duluth vs. Providence for the national championship on Saturday, April 13.
Denver punched its ticket to the Frozen Four thanks to wins over Ohio State and American International, which scored a stunning upset in the first round over No. 1 seed St. Cloud State.
UMss, meanwhile, knocked off Harvard and Notre Dame by a combined score of 8-0.
The Frozen Four takes place at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
