In the days leading up to the season eight premiere of HBO’s Emmy Award-winning fantasy drama Game of Thrones, content based around and produced by the show itself has been flooding in from all corners of the internet.

Whether it be Game of Thrones-style wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, exclusive sit-down interviews with HBO, House-inspired adidas Boosts, or original studio albums, there has been no shortage of Game of Thrones content and product heading into the iconic show’s final six episodes.

Hell, even an NBA team temporarily changed their name to the “Direwolves”.

However, we’d argue that of all the in-your-face Game of Thrones-related content you’ve consumed in recent weeks, the four-minute long clip you’re about to see is, by far, the most entertaining of them all.

Set to the tune of Billy Joel’s iconic hit “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, YouTube user and apparent musical genius Tristan Gough figured out a way to cleverly and catchily reference all of the major deaths (and there’s been a lot of them) that have occurred over the show’s first seven epic seasons.

From the members of the Night’s Watch killed in the very first scene, to the entirety of Blackwater Bay, to the face-chewing death of Ramsay Bolton, this “A Song of Ice and Fire” parody is a comedic look back at all the death and destruction that has gotten us to this point — the end.

And if you enjoyed that video, make sure to subscribe to Tristan Gough on YouTube, as the dude is clearly both talented and in possession of a solid sense of humor.

The eighth and final season of the Emmy-award winning HBO fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’, which will consist of just six episodes, will begin airing on HBO on Sunday, April 14, at 9 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. PST. We wish you good fortune in the wars to come.
