The 2019 NFL Draft is just around the corner and we now know who will be in attendance in downtown Nashville. This year, a record-high 111 players left college early to enter the draft ahead of the underclassmen declaration deadline on January 14. Despite hundreds of players being in the pool of eligible players, just 23 received invitations to attend the draft.
Included in the 23 players was reigning Heisman Trophy-winner Kyler Murray. The Oklahoma Sooners star will be joined by other top quarterback prospects Drew Lock of Missouri and Duke’s Daniel Jones.
In addition to the quarterbacks, there will be six defensive linemen, four offensive lineman, three linebackers, two defensive backs, two wide receivers, two tight ends and one running back.
The 2019 NFL Draft will take place between April 25 and April 27 in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville earned the honor of hosting the 84th annual player selection over cities Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Cleveland/Canton. The Arizona Cardinals hold the No. 1 overall pick and are reportedly leaning towards drafting Murray.
