An official music video for Lil Peep and Makonnen’s hit “I’ve Been Waiting” along with Fall Out Boy has finally dropped. The “magical” video for the Billboard Hot 100 track was officially released on Wednesday, April 10.
“Peep wanted this video to bring people up into the clouds, into the fantastical world of his mind,” Sus Boy said in a statement about the video. “Making it now, alongside Makonnen, is our way of visiting him again.”
Liza Womack, Peep’s mother, had similar praise for the music video.
“This video is a magical one,” Womack wrote on Instagram Instagram. “Gus and Makonnen came up with the idea for it two years ago. I’m so glad the idea has been realized. You will see the subtle presence of Gus in it, if you look closely. Well done, guys!”
