Conor McGregor just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. According to a report from the Irish Mirror, the former two-division UFC champion is being investigated by police relating to an incident at the Marble Arch pub in Dublin on Saturday, April 6. McGregor is accused of assaulting a patron at the bar.

“There was a bit of a commotion, he [McGregor] was acting the mick and there was an incident,” one witness told the paper. “There weren’t many people in the bar at the time, there was drink involved. The man that was allegedly assaulted is from Ballyfermot and drinks in the pub a good bit.”

As for what could have sparked the bar fight, another witness claims one customer approached McGregor and made a reference to his rival, current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“The Russian battered you,” the bar patron is alleged to have said to McGregor.

Then, the altercation ensued.

Police confirm they are investigating an incident, but no arrests have been made at this time.

“Gardaí are investigating an incident at a pub in Drimnagh, Dublin on April 6, 2019,” the police said in a statement. “No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”

This is just the latest incident for McGregor outside of the cage. Earlier this year, McGregor was arrested in Miami for felony robbery after allegedly smashing a fan’s cell phone and leaving the scene with it. He is also reportedly being investigated by police in Dublin for an alleged sexual assault.
