Maryse Ouellet Mizanin, born on January 21, 1983, in Montreal, Canada, is a Candian professional wrestler and reality television actress who is best known for her work with the WWE and the USA reality TV series Miz & Mrs.
Born in Montreal, Maryse grew up in Edmundston, New Brunswick, and began her professional career as a model before making her way to the world of professional wrestling.
In the year 2006, Maryse was hired by the WEE to compete in the WWE Diva Search competition. Before making it to the big leagues of the WWE, Maryse spent time honing her craft in the WWE’s developmental territories, Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling.
Then, in 2008, Maryse made it to the big time when she began starring on Smackdown!. That same year, she won her first WWE Divas Championship and retained the title for seven months.
In 2009, Maryse switched over to RAW and won the WWE Divas Championship for her second time in February 2010.
Maryse got engaged to fellow WWE Champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin in 2013 and got married to him in the Bahamas on February 20, 2014.
The two have starred together on the USA Network reality TV series Miz & Mrs. since 2018.
