Two police officers have been shot and a 16-year-old boy is currently being held hostage during a barricade situation in Stockbridge, Henry Country, Georgia.
The Henry County Police Department has described the scene as an “active incident” at a home in the Eagle Way area in Stockbridge.
Both officers who were shot during the barricade situation are expected to survive, as their injuries have been described as “non-life threatening”. The wounded officers were taken to Grady Hospital.

At this time, the suspect inside of the Stockbridge home has not been identified. Similarly, the identity of the 16-year-old inside the home is also unknown.
There is a heavy police presence on the scene, who are currently working to safely retrieve the teenage boy that’s inside the home.
