This year’s WrestleMania is set for April 7 and will air live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This will be the 35th incarnation of the event and is set to feature one of the most stacked lineups in history. Currently, WWE might have its most talented roster of all-time. There is just so much talent ranging from the main event players at the top all the way to the athletes cutting their teeth down in NXT.
Rumors are swirling that this WrestleMania could last between seven and eight hours, making it an all-day affair for fans looking to take in the action. Currently, there are fourteen matches scheduled. These are our predictions.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
The three women making history. For the first time in the 30 plus year history of WrestleMania, the ladies will be the main event. And there are no three women more deserving. First, there’s Ronda Rousey. She debuted at WrestleMania a year ago and has spent the past 365 days having one of the best rookie runs ever. Her name value due to her time as a UFC star helps. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair has been the focal point of this division since her debut in 2015 and Becky Lynch has used an insanely hot run since last fall to become the hottest star in all of wrestling. She’s “Stone Cold” Steve Austin levels of popular right now. That makes us think she’s walking away with the biggest win of her career.

WWE Championship
If Becky Lynch is the hottest act in the WWE, Kofi Kingston is a close second. Kingston has been an active and successful member of the roster for over a decade. After an unfortunate injury to Ali in February, Kingston replaced him in the Elimination Chamber and came within a hair of dethroning Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. Since then, fans have clamored for Kingston to get that elusive win. Kingston and his New Day brothers have jumped through hoops to get him the title shot he deserves. Bryan has been a highly entertaining champion since winning it back in November, but Kingston is the way to go. His win would also be a massive WrestleMania moment, as he would be the first 100% African-American WWE Champion in history.

WWE Universal Championship
Since its inception in 2015, the Universal Championship has been the flagship title of Monday Night Raw. Brock Lesnar is the guy synonymous with the title. He won it at WrestleMania two years ago and retained it against Roman Reigns last year. This time around, he faces the Royal Rumble winner, Seth Rollins. They’ve only met once before and there was no decisive winner that night. Fans badly want Rollins to win here, but we expect them to be heartbroken. We think Brock retains here, though he may not make it past their next Pay-Per-View as champion.

Batista vs. Triple H
Yes, Batista is back with the WWE. He made his name there in the 2000s but retired in 2010. Before this, his only return came for a few months in 2014. The Guardians of the Galaxy star returned and brutalized Hall of Famer Ric Flair. It was his way of getting the attention of his old rival Triple H. The attack got Triple H to not only agree to one more match together (they even headlined WrestleMania 21 in 2005), but he put his career on the line. While Triple H isn’t a full-time competitor anymore, we don’t think his career ends here. Add in the fact that it would mark his first ever win over Batista and that’s what we’re going with.
Winner: Triple H
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
Like any good television show, people love long term storytelling. That’s precisely what happened here. This all began way back in November when Shane McMahon replaced an injured Miz in the finals of the Best in the World Tournament. Since then, Miz convinced McMahon to team with him and they even won the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. After losing them, McMahon turned on Miz and beat him down in his hometown. He also went so far as to attack Miz’s father. Expect a personal battle between two of the biggest names in the WWE. The Miz should win to give us a big feel good moment.

- Dean Ambrose will get involved in Roman Reign’s match against Drew McIntyre.
- John Cena will make a surprise appearance.
