Nick Cannon is vowing to finish what late-rapper Nipsey Hussle started. After the 33-year-old Crenshaw native was gunned down in broad daylight outside of his store in Los Angeles, California, fans on the Internet immediately began to spread the conspiracy that Hussle was murdered due to his involvement in a Dr. Sebi documentary.
Dr. Sebi, whose real name was Alfredo Darrington Bowman, believed that all diseases could be cured with natural healing and he had even claimed to have the cure for AIDs before a mysterious death that conspiracy theorists link to the US government and US Medical Corporations.
But don’t worry, because Cannon said that he is going to be “picking up the baton” and finishing the Dr. Sebi documentary which will shed light on his death and the healing methods he employed.
Cannon made his promise in a touching Instagram caption along with a photo of him and Nipsey side-by-side.
Cannon wrote, “And the Lord said, “Job well done my son..” @nipseyhussle King this is how I want to remember you! Laughing! Smiling! I ain’t slept yet, thinking about our conversations! Real ones from a real one! And I’m gonna say this only for the real ones to recognize. Where you left off, we gonna carry one! It’s a MARATHON, so I’m picking up the baton! Because they can’t kill us all! Spiritual Warfare is REAL and in full effect. And now your Spirit is protecting your community eternally! Your words, your steps, your walk always was and always will be SOLID! Now, Your message is my message! Your work is my work! I know you still rocking with us and your voice will never be silenced, because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Most High! So now that you are at Peace don’t Rest… Keep leading… Keep Shining King! Cosmic Love My Brotha!”
On his Instagram page, Cannon also shared a number of videos featuring Dr. Sebi.
Of course, with Cannon saying he will finish the documentary, Twitter users have been tweeting out messages urging him to “be safe” and saying that we must “protect Nick Cannon at all costs.”
Hussle is survived by his girlfriend, Lauren London, and his two children.
Our deepest condolences are with Nipsey’s family, friends, and all of those impacted by his passing at this difficult time.
