Following the tragic death of 33-year-old Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, tributes and condolences to late California MC began spreading across the internet like wildfire, including from the likes Rihanna and LeBron James.
“This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! I’m so sorry this happened to you @nipseyhussle,” tweeted Grammy-award winning artist Rihanna.
Hussle, born Ermias Davidson Asghedom in Los Angeles on August 15, 1985, was shot and killed outside of Marathon Clothing around 3:30 p.m. PST on Sunday, March 31. Hussle owned Marathon Clothing, which was located at 3420 W. Slauson Ave in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Rihanna’s heartfelt tribute was just one of many, as hundreds of rappers, musicians, athletes and entertainers alike took to social media to pay tribute to the late Grammy-nominated rapper.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, police have not identified as suspects or detained anyone in connection with the shooting.
