Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Davidson Asghedom on August 15, 1985, in Los Angeles, has passed away at the age of 33-years-old following a shooting outside of his Los Angeles store. Hussle was reportedly pronounced dead at a nearby hospital following the shooting.
Hussle, born Ermias Davidson Asghedom on August 15, 1985, in Los Angeles, was killed outside of Marathon Clothing, a clothing store he owned located at 3420 W. Slauson Ave in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
At this time, the shooter who shot and killed Hussle has not been identified and no suspects have been detained.

Hussle passed away at a Los Angeles hospital due to wounds he sustained in a shooting on Sunday, March 31.
Hussle was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st Grammy Awards for his debut studio album “Victory Lap.”
Earlier in the day, at 2:52 p.m. PST, Hussle tweeted “having strong enemies is a blessing.”
Prior to his Grammy-nominated debut studio album “Victory Lap”, Hussle was known for his mixtape catalog that included three installments of his Bullets Ain’t Got No Name series, The Marathon,The Marathon Continues and Crenshaw. Grammy-winning rapper Jay-Z once famously bought 100 copies of Hussle’s Crenshaw mixtape for $100 a piece.
Hussle’s first and ultimately last studio album, “Victory Lap”, was packed with features from rap heavyweights such as YG, Kendrick Lamar, The-Dream, and Cee-Lo Green.
After news broke of Hussle’s death, tributes to the late rapper began to spread all over social media. Musicians such as Rihanna and athletes such as LeBron James all took to Twitter to share their thoughts about the 33-year-old rapper’s untimely passing.
