Today — Monday, March 25 — at 5 p.m. EST, Sony will be releasing their first “State of Play” presentation, which is a Nintendo Direct-like presentation that will highlight and feature things to come from Sony’s gaming console.

Here’s what Sony officials said that fans can expect from the first edition of “State of Play”:

“State of Play will give you updates and announcements from the world of PlayStation. Our first episode will showcase upcoming PS4 and PS VR software, including new trailers, new game announcements, and new gameplay footage.”

Specifically, PlayStation fans should look out for new information about PS4 games such as MLB: The Show 19, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us 2, and virtual reality games such as Trover Saves the Universe and Everybody’s Golf.

Today’s PlayStation “State of Play” comes on the same day that Apple announced their new subscription gaming service Apple Arcade and six days after Google announced their new gaming service Google Stadia.
