After months of anticipation and speculation, Apple is expected to announce its Netflix-killing streaming service today during their “It’s Show Time” event.

In addition to announcing their new original content programs, the technology giant is also expected to reveal additional new services such as an updated Apple News service, subscription offerings for premium cable channels such HBO, Starz, and Showtime, and even a subscription gaming service.

As for their original content, Apple has been hard at work for a couple of years now, as they currently have upwards of 25 projects in the works.

In an effort to take over the streaming wars, Apple is currently developing everything from dramas to anthology series to cartoons to documentaries.
