For the third time this year, two of the most iconic teams in college basketball face off as the Duke Blue Devils take on the University of North Carolina Tar Heels in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament.
The University of North Carolina, who is the #3 ranked team in the Associated Press Poll, is the #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while Duke, who is #5 in the AP Poll, is the #3 seed in the ACC Tournament.
Despite having some of the biggest freshman talents in college basketball, Roy Williams Tar Heels have defeated the Blue Devils in both of their meetings this year by a relatively large margin.
In their first meeting at Cameron Indoor Stadium, UNC walked away with a 16-point victory after Zion Williamson injured his knee in the opening moments of the game. In the second meeting at the Dean Smith Center, the Tar Heels were again victorious, albeit this time by 9-points.
