In what really comes as no surprise, Cleveland Browns fans were ecstatic when it was announced that their team landed star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade with the New York Giants. Cleveland gave up safety Jabrill Peppers, the No. 17 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft and the No. 95 overall pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft in exchange for the 26-year-old pass catcher.

Browns fans immediately celebrated the news of the blockbuster deal but one fan had an especially over the top reaction.

The reaction was so enthusiastic, in fact, that a neighbor called the cops.

The hilarious 911 call and explanation of what really went down surfaced on social media. A woman initially called 911 because she heard a man screaming while flailing his arms, but in the end, he just dapped it up with the cops over the good OBJ news.

“Boom. We got OBJ. I was so excited. I couldn’t help myself. I was jumping all around my house because I couldn’t help myself; I was so excited. My brother told me to stop but I couldn’t because I was so excited. Couldn’t nothing stop me. So, I had to rejoice outside,” said 17-year-old Robert Stewart, via FOX 8 Cleveland.

In Cleveland, Beckham will join former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry to form one of the league’s top 1-2 wide receiver tandems. He also joins a Browns offense that features former Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield under center, star running back Kareem Hunt and former UGA star Nick Chubb in the backfield along with the versatile Duke Johnson, and dynamic pass-catching tight end David Njoku.

Throughout his career, Beckham has hauled in 390 catches for 5,476 yards, and 44 touchdowns since joining the league as the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Now, Beckham, who signed a five-year deal worth as much as $95 million with the Giants last summer, will look for a new start while the Giants carry $16 million in dead cap space for the year.
