Lori Loughlin, born on July 28, 1964, in Queens, New York City, is an American actress who is best known for portraying Aunt Becky on the classic ABC sitcom Full House.
Loughlin was a fixture of television in the late 1980s and early 1990s during her years as Rebecca Donaldson, one of the main characters on the classic ABC family comedy Full House.
Prior to becoming America’s sweetheart on Full House, Loughlin originally made her mainstream breakthrough on television when she starred in The Edge of Night from 1980 to 1983.
In between The Edge of Night and Full House, Loughlin appeared in a handful of small television and film roles.
Following Full House, Loughlin’s public profile tapered off considerably, as she was relegated to remaining on television series and movies, appearing in projects such as The Larry Sanders Show, The Drew Carey Show, Summerland, Justice League: Unlimited, Suddenly Susan, Seinfeld, Cursed, Spin City, Birds of Prey, Ghost Whisperer, 90210, Psych, Major Crimes, Missing, Jake in Progress, and Blue Bloods.
In the late 2010s, Loughlin began starring on the Hallmark Channell series When Calls the Heart and the Full House sequel series on Netflix, Fuller House.
In March of 2019, Loughlin became embroiled in a college admissions scandal after it was reported that she allegedly paid $500,000 to get her children into the University of Southern California.
As a result, Loughlin was charged with felony conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
We’d say follow Lori Loughlin on Instagram, but she has since deleted her account.
