Rachel McAfee, a 36-year-old mother from Indianapolis, Indiana, has gone missing. McAfee’s husband filed a missing persons report and notified police after Rachel and her 2-month-old daughter went missing on Monday, March 4.
According to Rachel’s husband, she left with their daughter and was supposed to drop the baby off with a babysitter before heading to a work meeting. Rachel never dropped off the child, and she has not been seen or heard from since leaving her house, according to local news outlet CBS 4.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released their missing person report for Rachel and are now asking for the public’s help to locate her and the child.
The description from the missing person report reads: “On 3-4-2019, Rachel McAfee was last seen at approximately 8:00 am with her infant daughter, Emma McAfee. Emma is 2 months old with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt. She is driving a Silver 2011 Subaru SUV, play 313RRH.”
Emma was last seen wearing a pink and white outfit with a pink headband.
The report adds that McAfee suffers from alcoholism and postpartum depression and that she is possibly suicidal.
