Michael Cohen will be testifying before the House Oversight Committee at 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday, February 27. You can watch a full live stream of Cohen’s testimony here.
Cohen was a lawyer for President Donald Trump from 2006 until May 2018. In the media, he was commonly referred to as President Trump’s “fixer.”
In August of 2018, Cohen pled guilty to eight counts of campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud. Three months later, in November 2018, Cohen pled guilty for lying to a Senate committee about the plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, Russia.
Following his guilt please, Cohen sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine in December of 2018.
Today’s testimony is expected to be Cohen’s only public testimony.
