Wednesday is a big day for hip hop star Drake, marking the 10-year anniversary of his breakout tape So Far Gone. To celebrate the occasion, Drake will be releasing the 18-track project on streaming services everywhere and he also reflected on his journey with a detailed message on Instagram.
Drake reminisced about his journey to the top and thanked everyone who helped him along the way.
Everyone from Lil Wayne and Trey Songz to Omarion and even Kanye West received a shoutout, even though Drake’s comment about Kanye came with some shade.
“@kanyewest a decade ago I rapped over your beat cause you just made the best shit and even though you stay wildin on twitter these days I will never forget what you contributed to the game and my career,” Drake wrote.
He also gave some love to his good friend LeBron James.
“@kingjames a decade ago you came to my release party at 6 Degrees and made me the biggest artist in the city off your presence alone,” Drake said.

So Far Gone is expected to hit streaming services on Thursday, so get ready for a nice blast from the past.
