After almost two years of waiting, Game Of Thrones fans finally know when the eighth and final season of HBO’s epic fantasy drama will premiere, as Home Box Office finally dropped the official release date in unison with the season three premiere of True Detective.
The premiere date of Game Of Thrones season 8 was confirmed to be Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 9 p.m. EST.
In addition to the announcement of the premiere date, HBO dropped another teaser trailer that features three of the four Stark children — Jon, Sansa, and Arya.
The announcement of the release date was first teased on HBO’s official Twitter account with a fake text exchange between the HBO Twitter admin and their ‘boss’.
