While the latest, high-flying clash in the epic rivalry between the Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide is sure to steal all of tomorrow’s newspaper headlines, tonight’s in-game headlines were stolen by Lil Wayne’s outfit during his halftime performance with Imagine Dragons (yes, Lil Wayne and Imagine Dragons, the duo that EVERYONE was clamoring for).

As for the game itself, Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers — who were 5.5 point underdogs and led by true freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence — steamrolled Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide en route to evening the two school’s College Football Playoff rivalry series at two wins each. The Tide previously defeated the Tigers in the 2015 National Championship before Clemson returned the favor with Deshaun Watson in 2016. Alabama also defeated Clemson in the 2018 Sugar Bowl.
Following their National Championship triumph, Clemson will become the second college football team ever to finish the season at 15-0, as the University of Pennsylvania football team was first to do so in 1897.
