Crystal Mostek, a 33-year-old woman who was arrested in April 2018 after she threatened to blow up a 7-Eleven in Virginia Beach, Virginia, pled no contest to her charges in a hearing on Wednesday, January 2.
According to authorities, back in April 2018, Mostek walked into a 7-Eleven store on Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach and placed a device on the counter that she claimed was a bomb and before she then threatened to blow up the store.
Police eventually arrived on the scene to determine that the device was not a bomb and arrest Mostek. After her arrest, Mostek was taken to Virginia Beach City Jail on felony charges of threatening to bomb and possession of a hoax device.
After entering her plea on January 3, Mostek’s sentencing hearing was set for March 20. And now that Mostek is back in the news, her mugshot has begun going viral on Facebook for all the wrong reasons.
“I read her name as ‘cyrstal meth'” said one Facebook user.
“Tell Batman to show his true identity or this 7-11 gets it!” joked another, making a reference to the fact that Mostek looks like the iconic Batman villain the Joker.
“Face that looks like a desk in detention,” cracked someone else.
“I bet she’s been to more ICP (Insane Clown Posse) concerts than anyone,” commented another.
“Is that the monster from Bird Box?” hilariously joked another.

This is not the first time that an insane mugshot has gone viral.
In December 2018, the mugshot of Murad Mansurovich Kurbanov, a Utah teenager who was arrested for allegedly stealing a U-Haul and leading police on a car chase, set social media ablaze as most users had a hard time believing that Kurbanov is not yet 20-years-old.
Similarly, the mugshot of Charles McDowell, aka Wide Neck, quickly turned into one of the best memes of 2018 back in November.
