Camren Bicondova, born on May 22, 1999, in San Diego, California, is an American dancer and actress who is best known for portraying a young Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the Fox television show Gotham, which charts the growth of Bruce Wayne into Batman.
In addition to her role as young Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the Fox television show Gotham, Bicondova has appeared in films such as Battlefield America in 2012 and Girl House in 2013. She has also appeared in the television series Shake It Up in 2011 and America’s Best Dance Crew in 2012.
Prior to becoming a professional actress and dancer, Bicondova was born in San Diego, California, on May 22, 1999. She first began performing when she was just six-years-old when she enrolled in dance classes. After moving to Hawaii with the rest of her family, Bicondova began studying jazz-funk and hip-hop styles of dance at a local studio.
By the time she was 11-years-old, Bicondova had become an “Elite Protege” for The PULSE on Tour dance convention, which allowed her to travel the country as an assistant to some of the nation’s top dancers.
She first began receiving widespread recognition in 2012 when she was featured in the 2012 dance-drama film Battlefield America. Also in 2012, her all-female dance troupe “8 Flavahz” was runner-up on the seventh season of the reality television competitions show America’s Best Dance Crew.
In 2014, Bicondova was cast as a young Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the Fox television drama Gotham, which tells the origin story of Bruce Wayne and other famous Batman characters.
For her work as young Selina Kyle on Gotham, Bicondova earned a Saturn Award nomination for “Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series.” Bicondova starred on Gotham through its fifth and final season, which premiered on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
In 2015, Variety named Bicondova on their annual Youth Impact Report, as an artist who “represents the next wave of Hollywood savvy and talent.”
