The Titan Games is the latest competition game show to hit the airwaves and is set to debut on NBC Thursday, January 3. The show — which is hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — puts competitors through a series of grueling activities that will push them to their limits.
NBC has ordered ten episodes of the series.
According to a synopsis of the show, it is similar to a previous remake of the hit series American Gladiators.

During a preview of the competition, The Rock shared just how grueling we can expect everything to be.
“It’s called mana. Mana means spirit and power. And the mana in this arena is real,” he said in a press release. “A lot of them can’t walk out of here on their own accord. They have to get helped out,” Johnson says.
