UPDATE: Welp… Floyd Mayweather did exactly what people expected him to do to Tenshin.
RIZIN FF is holding it’s annual New Year’s Eve event with RIZIN FF at Super Saitama Arena in Japan. In the headlining bout of the night, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. will look to put on a show in a three-round boxing exhibition against Japanese kickboxing superstar Tenshin Nasukawa. There were questions about whether the bout would actually take place, but a deal was ultimately struck.
In the co-main event of the night, RIZIN bantamweight champion Kyoji Horiguchi will face off against Bellator champion Darrion Caldwell. If Horiguchi is victorious, he will appear in Bellator for a rematch with Caldwell.
Unfortunately for fans viewing in North America and Japan, the main event bout between Mayweather and Tenshin will be blacked out and excluded from the online stream.
