21 Savage was one of the targets of a recent diss track from Bone Thugs-and-Harmony rapper Layzie Bone this week. Layzie Bone dropped the track “Let Me Go Migo” which was aimed at Atlanta rap trio Migos, but 21 Savage found himself caught in the crossfire.
There was some speculation about whether 21 Savage would respond, but we now know our answer.
While 21 Savage doesn’t seem interested in continuing the beef or giving it much thought, he did comment on Instagram Live and shared his initial reaction.
“I thought that sh*t was going to be hard, ’cause I love all that old sh*t,” 21 Savage said on Instagram Live. “But that sh*t was wack as a motherf*cker. I’m talking ’bout that was probably the weakest diss song I’ve ever heard in my life, no cap. Like, what the f*ck, bro?
“Who the hell let that man put that shit out, man? That n***a homeboys ain’t shit.”
Layzie Bone decided to mimic 21 Savage’s flow on the track.
“Hol up here’s my savage flow, this sh*t feels too average tho,” Layzie Bone rapped. “This lil n*gga done lost his mind disrespecting my marriage yo.”
But it seemed to be a complete misfire, so it will be back to the drawing board if Layzie Bone wants a response. Whether Migos respond, however, remains to be seen.
