Miss Universe 2018: Meet The Contestants

The 2018 Miss Universe National Costume Competition was just aired via live stream December 10, 2018. So far we have seen all the candidates who are going to compete in this year’s pageant showcased a costume that represents their nation in an elaborate display of color and culture from around the world. The official Miss Universe 2018 will air in the United States live Sunday, December 16 from 7 to 10 P.M. ET live/ PT tape-delayed on FOX.

Meet all the contestants of the 2018 Miss Universe!


Francesca Hung — Australia


24-year-old Francesca Hung, the Australia representative, holds a Bachelor’s in Arts majoring in Sociology and is now on track to complete her second degree — a Master’s in Publishing at The University of Sydney.


Trejsi Sejdini — Albania

Trejsi Sejdini, 18, was born in Elbasan in the year 2000. Growing up, she looked to her mother as a role model. She grew up reading books, studying math and physics.


Mayra Dias — Brazil

Mayra Dias is a journalist born in Amazonas, Brazil. She is deeply involved in defending environmental causes by raising awareness of the issues of deforestation.


Meisu Qin — China

Meisu Qin was born and raised in the Northeastern part of China. She pursued Bachelors in Maths at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. She is also led to start modeling in Canada, Italy and South Korea for prestigious brands.


Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers — Great Britain

Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers is a graduate of law from the University of Birmingham. Besides being a beauty queen and a barrister, Kentish-Rogers is also an accomplished athlete, having competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She is the first black woman to represent Great Britain at a Miss Universe pageant.


Nikol Reznikov — Israel

18-year-old Nikol Reznikov recently graduated from high school where she focused on Media Studies. She also volunteers at the children’s department at a hospital in her hometown Afula.


Andrea Toscano — Mexico

Andrea Toscano is currently studying Nutrition at Colimaas University with academic excellence. She is also involved in a Neuro-linguistic programming course.


Aramide Lopez — Nigeria

Aramide Oluwatobi Lopez is a Nigerian model who was born in Lagos. She is currently a student of Nursing. She is a fashion lover and has a passion for singing.


Tamaryn Green — South Africa

Tamaryn Green, 24, from Paarl in the Western Cape, was crowned Miss Universe South Africa 2018 on May 27, 2018. At the time of winning the title, she was a sixth and final year medical student at the University of Cape Town with her sights set on specializing in pediatrics once she qualifies.


Sophida Kanchanarin — Thailand

Kanchanarin was born in Bangkok, and graduated Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada with a degree in Finance. She came back to Thailand after graduation and started off her career path as an Investment Banking Manager at just 23, becoming the youngest female manager in TMB Bank.


Karina Zhosan — Ukraine

From the age of 16 years old, Karina Zhosan successfully built her acting and modeling career in Asia. In the same time period, she received a higher education in the sphere of hotel-restaurant and tourist business in her country.


Sarah Rose Summers — USA

Sarah Rose Summers graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University in four years with two separate degrees while working two part-time jobs. After graduating, she completed her clinical rotations and exam to become a Certified Child Life Specialist.
