As we were all laying on our couches, desperately trying to fight off the impending post-first-meal-of-the-day nap, Disney went and dropped a bomb on the American public during one of the commercial breaks of the Redskins-Cowboys game by releasing the first trailer for the live-action adaption of The Lion King.
The latest of Disney’s live-action remakes — following the likes of Alice In Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Maleficent, Cinderella, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Beauty and the Beast, and Christopher Robin — The Lion King is easily the most anticipated of the lot, as it’s a staple of almost ever millennial’s childhood.
