Kelsea Ballerini is an American country singer and songwriter who released her first album, The First Time, in 2015.
Ballerini, who was born on September 12, 1993, released her second album studio album, Unapologetically, on November 3, 2017. In 2017, Ballerini received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
While Ballerini was born in Mascot, Tennessee, she was raised in Nashville and attended Central High School in Knoxville and Centennial High School in Franklin. Following high school, Ballerini attended Lipscomb University for two years prior to pursuing a musical career.
When Ballerini was 19-years-old, she signed a deal with Black River Entertainment. Ballerini cites Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Dixie Chicks, and NSYNC as her influences.
In 2016, Ballerini began dating Australian country singer Morgan Evans and married him on December 2, 2017, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
So far during her career, Ballerini has released two studio albums and seven singles: “Love Me Like You Mean It”, “Dibs”, “Peter Pan”, “Yeah Boy”, “Legends”, “I Hate Love Songs”, and “Miss Me More.” In 2018, Ballerini was featured on The Chainsmokers song “This Feeling”.
