NYPD mobilizing for what is being called a ‘confirmed device’ by the Rockefeller Center On 6th avenue and 50th Street, New York City. Major evacuations were underway following the discovery of the package.
The New York Police Department gave the all-clear around 3:56 p.m. local time, stating that the suspicious package turned out to be a toy grenade, not a pipe bomb.

The reports of a suspicious package being found at Rockefeller Center in New York City comes a week after suspicious explosive packages were sent in the mail to prominent Democrats by 56-year-old Florida resident Cesar Sayoc.
This is just the latest in a string of suspicious packages, bomb threats, lockdowns, and school shootings that have plagued the United States.
