Kiernan Brennan Shipka, born on November 10, 1999, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actress who is best known for her role as Sabrina Spellman on the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and her role as Sally Draper on the AMC series Mad Men.
In addition to those two prominent roles, Shipka is known for voicing Jinora in The Legend of Korra, a spin-off of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and portraying B. D. Hyman in the FX series Feud: Bette and Joan.
Before becoming an actress, Shipka was born in Chicago, Illinois, to her father John Young Shipka and her mother Erin Ann Shipka. When Kiernan was six-years-old, she and her family relocated to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her acting career. Her first acting role came in a 2006 episode of the USA Network series Monk. Her first film appearance came in the 2007 film Dimension.
Shipka nailed down her breakthrough role when she was cast as Sally Draper on the AMC series Mad Men in 2007. Shipka portrayed Sally Draper until 2015 and won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2008 and 2009 for her work on the show.
