Jon James McMurray Cause of Death: Injuries suffered during fall
Jon James McMurray passed away at age 34 on Saturday, Oct. 23 after falling to his death during the filming of a music video. The “stunt rapper” was reportedly walking on the wing of a plane for the video before it fell into a downward spiral and he was unable to hang on. A statement from his team confirmed the news.
“However, as Jon got further out onto the wing of the plane, it caused the small Cessna to go into a downward spiral that the pilot couldn’t correct,” the statement read. “Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn’t have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly.” The plane reportedly landed safely and no one else was injured in the accident.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to honor Jon James and has currently raised more than $1,000.
