Bellator MMA
Bellator MMA wraps up a two-day stretch of back-to-back shows with Bellator 208. The event is headlined by a heavyweight scrap between MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko and fan-favorite Chael Sonnen, who has fought at middleweight and light heavyweight throughout his career. Now, “The American Gangster” is set to jump to heavyweight to face Fedor at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
The main event serves as the second semifinal bout of the Bellator World Heavyweight Grand Prix. The winner will face off against the winner of Friday night’s bout between Matt Mitrione and Ryan Bader.
In the co-main event, former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson squares off with Saad Awad, while a heavyweight scrap between UFC veterans Cheick Kongo and Timothy Johnson also takes place on the main card.
