Colby Covington is one of the most controversial fighters in the UFC. The loudmouthed welterweight contender is set to battle former lightweight king Rafael dos Anjos for the interim welterweight championship at UFC 225 on Saturday, June 9 in Chicago. And during the lead up to the fight, Covington has kept his brash ways about him and delivered some very harsh — and sometimes even over the line — trash talk.
Covington is in full gimmick mode and it doesn’t look like he has any plans to slow down — especially if he earns UFC gold.

“He just started doing steroids and always freaking had roid rage,” Covington said on the The Jim & Sam Show. “He’d come home and he’d yell at me, ‘Oh what the f*** are you doing Colby, do the dishes’ and he would just like freak out. He was wrestling at 197 [pounds], he was a national champ in junior college and he was trying to move up and go to heavyweight,. So he thought he had to do a cycle of roids and I just lost a lot of respect for him. He started partying a lot, doing Ecstasy, doing all these drugs and the rest of history. He’s been doing them since college.”

“The haters are saying i’m the underdog. You know who else was the underdog? The ruler of our nation Donald Trump. And just like Trump, I’m gonna grab these p*ssies and put them in their place,” Covington wrote on Twitter.
